In bone marrow, macrophages, neutrophils, monocytes and other lymphocytes are activated
by IL-10, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CFS) and other cytokines to produce
B-Lymphocyte stimulators (BLys) and proliferation-inducing ligands (APRIL) which mediate the survival, homeostasis and proliferation of Peripheral B cells.
